Literacy Link’s office and tutoring space is located inside the Midwest City Library. We depend on the generosity of individuals in the community, businesses, and corporations for student and tutor materials and operating expenses. Literacy Link is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all contributions are tax-exempt.

One in five people in Eastern Oklahoma County is functionally illiterate. A functionally illiterate person does not have the basic literacy skills to complete job applications, read drug and food labels, or help children with homework.  Here's how your support will help someone gain the literacy skills he or she needs:

  • A donation of $15 will provide a book for a student.
  • A donation of $50 will provide a student with materials for a full year.
  • A donation of $80 will provide a student and tutor with materials for a full year.
  • A donation of $100 will provide printer paper, toner, and maintenance to keep the computer lab up and running for six months or longer.

Any amount will help Literacy Link serve those in Eastern Oklahoma County who need  its services.  Please consider Literacy Link when making charitable donations!
